It's not your imagination — certain names are more popular among certain sports.
We sourced numbers from high school sports recruiting startup CaptainU, which has a database of 2 million student athletes, to find out which names are the most common for different sports.
You'll notice that a lot of the same names show up for many sports. At the same time, you may spot a few patterns that totally make sense, like how many golfers are named Austin.
